How to find images uploaded to Classy campaigns

Last Updated: Jun 22, 2018 10:40AM PDT

You can use your web browser to recover image files that have been uploaded to Classy. This is particularly helpful if you no longer have access to the photos locally and would like to access them.

The steps to access the photos will vary depending on what browser is being used. Scroll to your preferred browser below to view the applicable instructions.

1. Google Chrome
2. Mozilla Firefox
3. Safari

1. Google Chrome

Right click on the image you wish to download and select the ‘inspect’ option.

From the inspector view select the ‘sources’ option.

Click through the options to open dropdowns in various folders. You will be able to click on the specific image file to view a preview on the right hand side. The images will either be in a folder ending in “rackcdn.com” or “assets.classy.org.”

Once you have the image selected and it is showing in the preview, right click to save it locally to your computer.

2. Mozilla Firefox

Right click on the image you wish to download and select “view page info”.

Select the ‘Media’ option to see a list of all files.

Once you have selected the specific file you wish to download, click the ‘Save As’ button to save the image locally.

3. Safari

In the Safari menu, select the ‘Preferences’ option.

Select the ‘Advanced’ option and make sure the checkbox for ‘Show Develop menu in menu bar’ is checked.

Refresh the page. Right click on the page and select ‘inspect element’.

Select the ‘resources’ option and open the ‘images’ folder.

After selecting the desired image in the dropdown menu, right click on the image in the preview section on the right and either ‘copy’ to copy the image to your clipboard or ‘share’ to send it to yourself via email or other apps.
