An Introduction to Recurring Management

At Classy, we understand the importance of your recurring donors, the individuals who sustain your operations and maintain their connection to your organization. The new recurring management feature was created with the importance of these donors in mind and allows more flexibility and control than ever before.

The Recurring Giving Tab

Within the new Classy Manager, you will find a tab entitled ‘Recurring Giving’, here you will be able to search for and display individual Recurring Giving Plans. Recurring Giving Plans can be sorted by clicking on the header title to display an ascending or descending list based upon that header parameter. Please note, ‘Last Transaction’ and ‘Next Processing Date’ cannot currently be sorted through the Recurring Giving Tab.

You may also use the dropdowns to display all recurring giving plan within a given campaign or status. The Recurring Giving Plan Statuses can be defined as follows:

The Recurring Record

Clicking on any single recurring giving plan within the ‘Recurring Giving’ tab will lead you to the corresponding recurring giving plan record. From here, you will have access to an overview for that single recurring giving plan where you can view payment information, individual recurring transaction history, payment information, etc.

This is also the location where payment information, and campaign/ fundraising page crediting can be edited. Please know that only recurring giving plans that were created on our new payments system are eligible for these new features at this time.
