The content blocks in the advanced designer contain design tools you can use to customize the look and feel of your campaigns. In this article, we will give a brief overview of the advanced designer’s content blocks and highlight some of the key edits you can make.

  1. Landing Page Content Blocks
  2. Other Campaign Pages
  3. Request a Guide

Landing Page Content Blocks

When it comes to the advanced designer, we recommend getting started with Landing Pages. These pages are usually what potential supporters see first and a strong design can encourage them to donate. The content blocks that appear will differ depending on the campaign type you choose, but you can use our guide to see which content blocks are available:

 - Crowdfunding
 - Peer-to-Peer
 - Ticketed Events
 - Registration with Fundraising

Header ⬤ ⬤ ⬤

Your header is the strip across the top of your campaign pages that holds general information including your logo. Any changes you make to your header will apply to all of the pages in your campaign.

Key edits you can make:

  • Add a link to logo
  • Change header background color
  • Make header background transparent

Key edits you can make:

  • Change or hide the headline

  • Show or hide footer
  • Change the footer logo
  • Change the text color

Other Campaign Pages

You can use the advanced designer on any page within a Classy campaign. Aside from the Landing Page, every other page in a campaign will only have 3 content blocks in the advanced designer: Header, Body, and Footer.

Header and Footer

Since we covered headers and footers in the previous section, we won’t cover them in detail here. Remember, you can edit the header and footer on any campaign page but the changes you make will be campaign wide.

Body

You can use the body content block to edit the main content of the campaign page you choose. The design tools will differ from page to page, but anything that is editable will appear once you open the block. The best strategy is simply to click on the design element you want to edit in your preview—this will open the body content block and the matching design tool.

Request a Guide

By popular request, we have created a few design guides for specific customizations—we added links to the guides in the appropriate places above. That said, our team is always working on more and we welcome requests.

If you would like to submit a request, please send one to our Care Team and we will make sure it gets to our writers.
