Classy for Salesforce - New Campaign Types

In 2016, Classy has been adding to and upgrading the campaign types it offers to give you more opportunities to engage supporters. These campaign types are built on the new Classy API which means there are are a couple nuances to keep in mind when using Classy for Salesforce to maintain seamless visibility across your fundraising efforts until Version 6 is released.

A. New Campaigns & Custom Questions
B. Custom Answers
C. Teams and Fundraising Pages
D. Offline Donations

 

A. New Campaigns & Custom Questions

Give new Peer-to-Peer Campaigns, Crowdfunding Campaigns and their associated Custom Questions a little bit more time to sync over. At most, these should be synced within the hour, but please reach out to our support team if you aren't seeing them populate in your Salesforce instance. Team Custom Questions do not currently sync.

B. Custom Answers (Fundraiser Signup)

While Custom Answers for Donation Pages do sync to Salesforce, Custom Answers for Fundraiser Signup do not currently sync automatically. Please reach out to our support team if you would like these pushed over manually.

C. Teams and Fundraising Pages

For now, Teams and Fundraising Pages will not sync until a successful transaction has been made. We recommend making a test transaction to these pages. Also, Campaign records for Fundraising Pages use the Fundraiser's name.

D. Offline Donations

Offline donations still sync from the legacy interface and can be assigned to Crowdfunding and new Peer-to-Peer campaigns. Currently, offline donations created from within the Crowdfunding and new Peer-to-Peer Reports dropdown do not sync to Salesforce.
